Eligibility Criteria for BTC Kokrajhar Teacher Recruitment 2021
Age limit : For the BTC Kokrajhar Teacher Recruitment 2021, the candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40years for unreserved category, 42years for Ex-Serviceman, 43years for OBC/MOBC, and 45years for SC/ST (P)/ST(H), and 50 years for persons with disability (PwD) as on 1st January 2021.
Educational and Professional Qualification:
Graduate Teacher (Science): The candidate must be Science Graduate or Post Graduate in science having from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution, but degree obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Graduate Teacher (Arts): Graduate or Post Graduate from recognized University in Arts subject with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution, but degree obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Hindi Teacher: Provin / Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% or Post Graduate Degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized University but Degree obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid or B.A. with 50% marks and having Hindi as one of the subjects with 50% marks or Post Graduate Degree in Arts with 50% marks provided that he has passed B.A. with one of the subjects as Hindi with 50% marks in Hindi and B.T. / B.Ed. Degree from any recognized University (Parangat to be treated as B.Ed. Degree only for the purpose of Hindi teaching). But Degree obtained from an Off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered valid.
Classical Teacher (Sanskrit / Arabic): MM with 50% marks and Degree qualification with 50% marks in the concerned subject or Post-Graduate Degree in Arts with 50% marks in concerned subject from any recognized University but Degree obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid or with 50% marks and having Arabic as one of the subjects with 50% marks or Post Graduate Degree in Arts with 50% marks provided that he has passed B.A. with one of the Subject in Arabic with 50% marks in Arabic and B.T. / B.Ed. Degree from any recognized University but Degree obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Other qualifications:
TET Score: In respect of Secondary TET candidates must obtain 60% marks in each paper for the UR category and 55% marks for OBC/ MOBC, SC-ST (P), ST(H), and PwD category.
MIL: No candidate is allowed to apply in the Bodo, Bengali/ Hindi / Assamese medium schools if the candidate does not have MIL in Bodo, Bengali, Hindi, and Assamese respectively in the HSLC examination as the case may be. Only candidate having Bodo, Bengali, Hindi, and Assamese as MIL in HSLC examination is allowed for applying in the schools which are imparting education in Bodo, Bengali, Hindi and Assamese medium.
